Penne in White Sauce

A popular Italian dish among Indians, Penne in white sauce is a creamy delight that is so-very-easy-to-cook but super-delicious to have.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers
  • 5-6 blanched broccoli
  • 5 tbsp boiled sweet corn
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp processed cheese
  • 1 cup boiled penne

Preparations

  • Heat olive oil in a pan. Add bell peppers, blanched broccoli, boiled sweet corn and toss.
  • In another pan melt some butter and add olive oil to it. Add chopped garlic and sauté it. Add flour and milk in small batches. Keep whisking to form a smooth sauce. Add chilli flakes, mixed herbs, black pepper powder, parsley, salt, processed cheese and mix well.
  • Add the cooked vegetables and boiled penne and give it a toss.
  • Garnish with bell peppers and parsley.
