Tandoori Fish Pomfret

A mouth watering dish of whole pomfret deliciously marinated and cooked tandoori style. 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coriander
  • 2 inch ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 8-10 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 tsp peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup hung yogurt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 whole pomfret
  • Coriander sprig

Preparations

  • Add coriander, ginger, cumin seeds, garlic, onions, black peppercorns in a mixing jar and grind to a paste using the Usha Imprezza Plus mixer grinder.
  • In a bowl add hung yogurt, the paste, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, kasuri methi, lemon juice and mix.
  • In a baking tray marinate the fish and set aside for 30 mins.
  • Grill in the Usha OTG at 180˚ for 20 minutes.
  • Garnish with a coriander sprig and serve with some salad and chutney.
