Peas Pulao

An easy-to-make recipe that serves both elaborate occasions and stay-at-home dinners. 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Green Peas
  • 1 ½ cup Basmati Rice
  • 3 cups Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander Sprig

Preparations

  • Turn the knob of the Usha Electric Pressure Cooker to the rice mode.
  • Heat ghee in the cooker. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and mix well. Add green peas, basmati rice and stir. Add water and salt. Cover the cooker with the lid. Cook the rice till the knob resets into keep warm mode.
  • Serve hot and garnish with a coriander sprig.
