Ingredients
- 250 grams Boneless Chicken
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 1½ tsp of 5 Spice Powder (Ground Cinnamon, Ground Cloves, toasted and ground Fennel Seeds, Ground Star Anise and toasted and Ground Szechuan Peppercorns)
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 1 Capsicum, diced
- 1 cup Chicken Stock
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
- 2 tbsp Cornflour dissolved in ¼ cup of water
- 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- For garnish: Fresh Basil and Coriander, chopped
Preparations

- Mix all ingredients (except onion, capsicum and cornflour) together and marinate for 15 minutes in a bowl.
- Cook the chicken with all ingredients in the USHA Electric Pressure Cooker for 12 minutes and release the steam.
- Stir in onions, capsicum and dissolved cornflour and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently.
- Serve on a bed of fried rice, garnished with basil and coriander.
Cooking tip
You can also use other vegetables like broccoli and baby corn.
